Early Easter Weekend!

We spent last weekend in St. George for an early Easter weekend. The weather wasn't the greatest but it was still fun just "chilaxin" with the fam! The kids had a great time going back and forth from the indoor pool, outdoor pool and hot tub! I don't know how many times they changed into their swimming suits! Oh to be a kid again!!
The caterpillar was a big hit! They loved playing on it, under it and knocking each other off of it!

Ryland hangin' out in Tee-Buggy's jet ski!

Thursday was the best day weather wise so the kids took advantage of the outdoor pool!

Say cheese!

We also got to celebrate Dawson's 8th Birthday while we were there! He couldn't have asked for a better birthday party all of his cousins and a swimming pool! ( Mom loved that too!) We look forward to his bapitsm this Saturday!
Dawson,
Dad and I are so proud of you and the choice you have made to be baptized. Remember what Bishop Morgan told you in your baptism interview, that baptism is the "gate" to return to live with your Heavenly Father. Always be your self and strive to do your very best!
We love you, Mom and Dad.

My wife finally realized its not illegal to buy gas!!

This is what my husband tells me, all though he wasn't the prangster who did this April Fools Joke. Ya my friends thought it would be funny to play a little April Fools joke on me! Needless to say I kinda brought this one on myself! I have been running out of gas alot lately( I swear my gas gauge dosen't work!) So they posted this on the Brian Farm marque. It was up for 2 days and I didn't even notice it. My husband finally called and said, " Have you read the Marque at Brian Farm, and I said no why?" He said you'll just have to go drive by so I did and this is what I found. They also had a bumper sticker made and put on my car that said, " If this vehicle is stopped please bring gas!" Just wait pay back is a you know what!!!

Fun with PlaYdoUgH!

Oh the fun you can have with playdough! Saturday night we decided to make playdough! This was my 1st time and it's quite easy and it entertained the kids for hours(they still are playing with it!) They each got to choose a color to make but wanted playdough in each shade of food coloring we had! (I didn't go that far though!) Here are a vew pictures I took as they were playing with it, I have to say they did get pretty creative with it!!

"Sweet Music"

This is the cake Easton chose to make for the scout blue and gold banquet. Each boy scout was to make and decorate a cake and Easton found this idea on the internet so we gave it a shot. It turned out way cool and it was a big hit at the banquet. He won the "Sweet Music Award" Good Job Easton!

Grandpa's "Last Ride"

I wanted to share some pictures from my Grandpa's funeral. We had his casket on the Peterbuilt truck to escort him out to the cemetary. He use to love to transport equipment with Morgan to and from the different job sights. So we dedicated this his "Last Ride". It was really neat to see the procession line going out to the cemetary. Morgan also had some stickers made to go around the Peterbuilt emblem on the hood of the truck that read "In memory of Arlen Brown", and then on the passenger side of the truck it reads,"Founder" that is what the guys at BBC nicknamed grandpa since he was the Founder of BBC. Pretty neat! It still does not seem real that grandpa has passed away, we think about and miss him each day! We love you Grandpa Great!!

Movie night at the Rees'

We spent this past weekend at home, sometimes those are the best ones! We did some yard work and cleaned out storage rooms and tried to get organized. I have a BIG to-do list that HAS to been done before Kate's baby shower here at my house on April 18th. So I've been crackin' the whip! (Seriously though are you really ever ready for these kind of things!!)
